Lightning, thunder, electric shock, electric shock, AC voltage

When lightning flashes and thunders, people are easy to be struck by lightning under trees or buildings. Both lightning and electric shock can kill immediately, or even cause injury. If the AC voltage exceeds 65 volts, it will hurt the human body, and if the high-voltage wire falls to the ground, people will get an electric shock within 10 meters around. The voltage of lightning can reach 100 million volts. When it hits the human body, it can immediately carbonize and blacken people.
For the first aid of the person who gets an electric shock, every minute should be counted. Patients with respiratory and cardiac arrest are in critical condition. At this time, they should be rescued and contacted urgently to send the patients to the nearest hospital for further treatment; On the way to the hospital, the rescue work cannot be interrupted.
1. Turn off the switch, cut off the power supply, and then rescue. When the power supply cannot be turned off, the electric wire can be lifted away from the body of the person who gets an electric shock with a wooden stick, bamboo pole, etc. If the electric wire or other electrified appliances causing electric shock cannot be lifted, the person who gets an electric shock shall be covered with a dry rope and dragged away to separate it from the current. Rescuers had better wear rubber gloves and rubber sneakers. Don’t pull the person who gets an electric shock with your hand. You can’t forget your own safety because you are eager to save others.
2. If the injured person is conscious and breathing and heartbeat are autonomous, the injured person should lie on the ground and observe closely. Do not stand or walk for the time being to prevent secondary shock or heart failure.
3. Call an ambulance immediately when the injured loses consciousness and try to wake up the injured. If the breathing stops and the heart beat exists, lie on the ground, loosen the clothes button, unblock the airway, and immediately perform mouth-to-mouth artificial respiration. If the heart beat stops and breathing exists, external cardiac compression should be performed immediately.
4. If it is found that the heartbeat and respiration have stopped, resuscitation measures such as mouth-to-mouth artificial respiration and extrathoracic heart massage shall be taken immediately (except for a few confirmed electrocuted victims). The general rescue time shall not be less than 60-90 minutes. Until the person who gets an electric shock resumes breathing and heartbeat, or it is confirmed that there is no hope of survival. It is better to perform mouth-to-mouth artificial respiration and extrathoracic cardiac compression in a ratio of 1:5 for on-site rescue, that is, artificial respiration once and cardiac compression five times. If only one person is rescued on site, the ratio of 15:2 shall be used for extrathoracic cardiac compression and artificial respiration, that is, 15 times of extrathoracic cardiac compression shall be performed first, and then 2 times of mouth-to-mouth artificial respiration shall be performed alternately. The rescue must be carried out to the end.
be careful:
1. When dealing with electric injury, pay attention to whether there is other damage. Such as bouncing off the power supply after electric shock or falling from high altitude, often complicated with craniocerebral trauma, hemopneumothorax, visceral rupture, limb and pelvic fractures, etc.
2. During on-site rescue, do not move the wounded at will. If it is necessary to move, the rescue interruption time shall not exceed 30 seconds. When moving the wounded or sending them to the hospital, in addition to making the wounded lie flat on the stretcher and padded with flat hardwood board on the back, continue to rescue. If the heartbeat and respiration stop, continue artificial respiration and extrathoracic cardiac compression. The treatment cannot be stopped before the medical staff of the hospital take over.
3. For electric burn wounds or wounds, do not wrap them with ointment or unclean dressing, but wrap them with clean dressing, or send them to the hospital for treatment by doctors.
4. In case of lightning and thunder, quickly take shelter in the nearby building. When there is no place to hide in the wild, take off metal items such as watches and glasses, fall down in low-lying places and avoid under big trees. Do not stand on high walls, under trees, near electric poles or near antennas.
