1. If the line length between the power supply surge protector and the protected equipment at the distribution box is greater than Lpo or Lpi value, a tamper protector shall be added at the protected equipment. When surge protector is added at the protected electronic information equipment, Up shall be less than the rated value of equipment impulse withstand voltage Uw, with a 20% margin.
3. In order to improve the reliability of surge protective device, multi-level coordination can be carried out, or coordination with other equipment can be carried out. 4. In multistage SPD protection, the installation number should be accurately calculated and the installation location carefully selected, so that the installation location and the installation number can be accurately matched, so that the lightning current can be shared according to the energy tolerance of each SPD, and the lightning can be guided to the ground, so that the original threat value of lightning can be reduced below the damage immunity of the protected equipment, and the effect of protecting the electronic system can be achieved.
5. If there is no shielding measure for the overvoltage protection level between information equipment in the building, the induced voltage circuit shall be designed. If 80% of the overvoltage withstand level of the protected equipment exceeds the specified 10%, the voltage amplitude shall be increased.
6. If there is no lightning protection device in the building, when the building with information system needs to be equipped with SPD protection, the lightning protection network should be used to shield the building.
